Mary’s best advice: love on the people who love you.

For her, that means sending out handwritten notes every week, at least five per day. If that sounds too simple for you, it keeps her closing more than 25 transactions a year, with no marketing. Maybe worth a try?

Irene’s best advice: Build systems that wow your customers.

She credits hiring the right people, caring about the clients over the commission, and being there for the clients throughout the transaction with her own success and that of the teams that she trains. Where does the self-talk come in? Everyday.  Thoughts to emotions result in actions that guide our success.  Irene recommends examining your self-talk whenever you are stressed or upset to see what messages you are sending to your psyche.  Would you ever talk to a friend about how you talk to yourself?

Both of these ladies also coach mortgage company owners and sales teams.  Coaching changes people’s lives, says Irene. 

When asked what their friendship means in business, Mary said, Irene is my soft place to fall. That’s quite an asset to have in business and in life.
